Manics made it to The Chain on Radcliffe and Maconie!
It was Autumnsong, so if you can think of anything that links to radcliffe.maconie@bbc.co.uk with name, phone number, track suggestion and how it links in. |

Not strictly Manics but I just was looking at books on Amazon and I saw a new book that recently came out called 'This is Yesterday' by Rose Ruane which made me wonder if she was a Manics fan. Went on her Twitter and she follows the FD Forum on there so she must be! The novel is set in 1994 too which doesn't surprise me.

Monday nights University Challenge played Faster in the music round "90s Songs with Flim Clips" the University team had no clue what's so ever. Think one of them said Green Day.

Forgotten the sixties one.
70's was Roll Away The Stone. And even then he said that was James's idea. Going Underground from the 80's. Yes by McAlmont and Butler for 90's Can't Stand Me Now for 2000's. Video Games by Lana Del Rey for 2010's. And I think he picked Orwellian for 2020's. Forgotten what was picked for sixties. I did download Absolute player but the amount of fucking adverts you had to sit through when changing channels was torture! EDIT: Probably nothing from the sixties as it was five decades so maybe Orwellian played as a treat. Nicky Wire due on BBC R2's Sounds Of The 90's tonight at ten. Yesterday, I watched some old episodes of Coronation Street and they played The Everlasting in one of the episodes. Today, I watched some more old episodes of Coronation Street and they played If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next in one of the episodes.

I keep hoping to find the east Enders episode where terry bought masses of the market stall. There was also an episode regarding a noise complaint and stay beautiful was being blasted out!! |
