What a gig! Only the 3rd time I'd seen them live but definitely the best by far

After having an absolutely amazing time in London at Suede, not to mention the preceding few days of Manics gigs and drunkenly sharing hotel rooms with all manner of people, I didn't know what to expect in Cardiff. Even for an arena, loved the venue, great homecoming gig atmosphere, fun in the pubs and hotel bar before and after. Can't Take My Eyes Off You was a personal highlight. Great end to four of the best days of the year.

Did feel notably horrendous by the time I got home though.

I'd just like to thank the kind people who let me back onto the barrier, I was really poorly during, and after, the gig

I had to rush off to the loo and thought i'd loose my place but every one let me through the crowd, without any complaints, and back on the sacried barrier

. Great gig and really looking forward to seeing James on Monday and the rest at IOW fest.
