I got the HMV single, but that's only cos I cancelled my original pre-order with the official site, & Re-ordered with HMV for the sole reason of getting the single! Glad I did now - just gutted I didn't think to get two!!

Lol, me too, of there happens to be another unwanted single! Obviously I'd pay for it.

I find the whole thing reallyvfrustrating, I've collected everything they've released since I became a big fan about ten years ago, and now there's one single I'll almost certainly never afford because Sony and/ or hmv decided to use the most confusing system ever!

I'm going to write a long indignant British letter to someone somewhere.

I'm disrupting the thread a little here, but who played the harmonica in the TITD acoustic track? Anyone know. I reckon it's Nicky, please let it be Nicky.

Fair, and then add me also to the countersigning.
I am quite sick of those downloading tracks/free but not really free singles and such.
nd consider the rip off of having bought the NT Box but the the single is not the same as the HMV one, right?

By the way, not that forking out some 20 Pounds for one copy of God Save The Manics made me very happy.
Still more useful, maybe, than the vinyl editon from Q magazine of NT?

Cheers.

As I mentioned in the other thread about NT, I pre-ordered the HMV deluxe + Bonus CD single and never received the single.
I called to complain and they said they'd send it out soon.
Then the other day I got an email saying that they're sorry but the CD is out of stock and they'll be happy to refund me if I send back my purchase.

I just replied telling them how unprofessional they are (how could they run out of stock if most pre-orders likely came in 2 months prior to the release date??) and that I won't bother to repack the CD and queue at the post office for a 2.50£ refund (the postage fee they charged me), as I would have to buy the deluxe from play.com anyway (same price, free postage).

Needless to say I'll never shop at HMV.com again.

Hands up who actually owns this and where did you get it from? If you don't mind me asking!

I got it from HMV. I assume the only way to get it, is either through HMV or in the deluxe box. Both versions are the same aren't they?
