Eugh that was my friend last year. She actually said, and I quote, "I'm not really going for the bands, I just wanna get pissed and have a good time".

I was like, I'm paying 170something quid, I wanna get my fucking moneys worth and see loads of bands! I could get pissed in a field for NOTHING.

I wanted to punch 90% of the people at Reading last year, and I've been reliably informed that Leeds is marginally better in terms of the crowd so probably gonna hit up Leeds this year. Northern festivals are better than southern festivals anyways. Fact.

It's kinda interesting, cos at glastonbury lots of people wouldn't think twice about doing that...I agree with you though.

I find it impossible to get drunk at festivals, no matter how much I drink.
I'd love it if they played wireless, though I'd imagine the setlist wouldn't be too fantastic..

I think it's all well and good, you want to go and get drunk and have a good time, that's the fun of festivals. But it should be about the bands definitely.

Bitch please, I'm going to dance regardless when next I see you.

They won't play so it's fine anyway.

I would really like to go to a english festival once, you always get the good bands. Well at least Pulp is playing at a festival here this summer! Can't miss that.

Since the Manics was here May last year (which I sadly missed...) I doubt that they will play here again for a long time. Considering that they want a break and all.
