I was excited about this at first, but as I'm not a fan of Suede, I've decided I'm not going to pay a load of money just to see maybe an hour slot from the Manics and then watch a band I only know about two songs of. Hope everyone has fun though. I await a new album and full Manics tour next year

Pre-sale tickets sold out! I was just about to click yesterday. But... Well it was sprung without notice. So I'm not good in a crisis or surprises.
Have a great tour!

Any idea of how much of the capacity is included in the pre-sale?

(And is there any point to a pre-sale when anyone can sign up for it, asides from trying to build hype and get people to buy in fear of missing out?)

Leeds sold out already!

Might have benefitted slightly from being a Saturday gig, but encouraging to see it go so fast and Ticketmaster labelling several others as limited tickets remaining.

I can vouch for that. I saw Suede there a few years ago. That hill is horrible and i'm doing it again next year. I ended up with London and Leeds tickets.

A friend of mine ordered tickets for Edinburgh while I was away, but said there wasn't any standing tickets and just seated - I seen listings have standing tickets listed but he said they never went available even during the presale. He's lying, right? Anyway looking forward to this, and never done a gig at the castle so that will be cool.

Now playing the Eden Project in Cornwall the day after Llangollen (and the day before Glastonbury Sunday...)

Looks like there are more seated than standing tickets for Edinburgh. It may be that the standing ones disappeared so fast that it appeared there weren't any for sale.

But yeah, should be great. Got to say I'm slightly disappointed none of my Edinburgh mates have been in touch suggesting I come up for it!

Of the original dates that went on sale last week, only Edinburgh and London are not sold out.

Not bad going considering some people thought they'd struggle to fill venues the size that they're playing in!

Any chance of European dates with Suede in 2024 then?

Europe got a Suede/Manics co-tour thirty years ago! The rest of the world are now playing catch up!

I wouldn't bet against it... but at the same time it feels like the Manics are likely to have a new album out at some point next year so I suspect they'll want a solo headline tour to promote it.

But I could be completely and utterly wrong on that.
