Why on earth is The Horrors' remix on there? A flatulent Kelly Jones with the the accompaniment of a vomiting Amy Winehouse could have made a better sound.

I received a manics.co.uk newsletter email thingy about it and it turns out you have to either have a Spotify premium account or buy a day pass for 99p.

Nicely put.

I'll go for the slightly less creative 'it was completely and utterly shit - totally without merit'. Why bother?

I like the suggestion of the acoustic versions more. Or a live version of the album. Maybe the other remixes will be better, but they cant be more pointless than the Horrors' complete load of bollocks.

I like Facing Page: Top Left and especially All Is Vanity, which has some nice dub going on in places, and I already liked Peeled Apples and (no, really) what The Horrors did to Doors Closing Slowly. The BSP interpretation of MASH is 'ok', well above the lowest tier of Manics remixes if nothing else and as a whole EP it's a lot better and more considered than the early days of those awful Dust/Chemical Bros things (apart from EMG, which was granturismotastic). I've missed Manics remixes. I wish someone would remix and 'unshit' Underdogs.
