I don't think my hated MSP songs have been mentioned yet:

So Why So Sad
Australia

I've never taken to those songs at all. I am also one who is not keen on the "Lifeblood" album, so I can live without the songs of that as well.

Australia grew off me too, mostly because of its place in gigs, though.

My Guernica. What a god awful noise. It really makes me want to chew my own brain out.

As you might surmise from my screenname, it's my favorite!

As to my least favorite, I honestly don't think I could name just one, but the top 2 candidates would be:

Tsunami
Royal Correspondent

Yeah, My Guernica's ace. The music's brilliant and messy and noisy and the lyrics are pretty great too.

It so fun musically, I think it's a better 'rawk' song than Found That Soul.

Kevin Carter and Australia both give me the shits. So obvious lyrically.

Not that I could do better of course.

Most of Lifeblood probably, I only listened to it once.

?

Just a thought...I think that giving, at least, a second chance to an album, allow people ( especially me ) to not avoid some good moments or tracks...
and we are talking about the manics !!! sorry for my english...I think I can be clearer in french

I've had to have a strong think about it but I have 6 songs which I really detest now.

1: So Why So Sad ( Manics trying to do the Beach Boys? Utter gash!)

2: Kevin Carter ( Soulless album track that should never have been a single)

3: His Last Painting (James sounds at his most laziest on the vocal and the melody is rubbish)

4: Blackholes For The Young ( Surely it would have sounded better if they had bothered to choose an actual singer to compliment James?)

5: Valley Boy ( Unforgettable and regrettable)

6: Born A Girl ( I just can't find anything redeeming in this song, it's a complete durge and stops TIMTTMY dead in it's tracks. Very much like "To See A Friend In Tears" kills "The Great Western".

I wouldn't say I have a least favourite, but the most disappointing song would have to be Fragments. the tune's good and the lyrics are too - but the way they've done makes it sound a bit nothingy. and as it's tucked towards the end of Lifeblood, it's easy to forget
