Thanks for posting! It's always good to read reviews by actual fans.

Alright, spam time.

My review.

And a few shitty photos.

I still can't believe it all happened. Loved every second of it.

Talking It was worth the 10 year wait!

Last night was fan-fricking-tastic!

The inclusion of one of these songs would have put the concert up a couple of notches on my all time list:

Tsunami
Masses Against the Classes
1985
Love of Richard Nixon
Umbrella

I had to leave immediately after the show....did MSP come on out and mingle with the remaining crowd?

I was pretty jet lagged so we took off pretty quickly after the show. I doubt they did though.

Sorry to take so long to reply to you both - was just a quick message at the hotel this morning and we just got home. We were in the guitar section at Tom Lee (big big music store on Granville St, just down from the Commodore) and James wandered in by himself. My first intention was to leave the poor guy in peace, but I just couldn't. He was so down to earth and chatty, shook our hands, an all-round lovely guy.
Thanks to all those posting pics and video, it was an amazing day/night all round.

A rather poorly written review of the Vancouver gig...really poor except for the last sentence; that's absolutely true!

I threw up some shots on my FB page. Let me know if the link doesn't work. They're not all fantastic (point-and-shoot + marginal skill) but some managed to turn out pretty good.

Hopefully the link works: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...1&l=30f935bf16

Later on I'll take some shots of my spraypainted shirt (4ever Delayed on the front, band name on the back), Wire's setlist complete with rip and white duct tape, feathers from Wire's boas, and autographed covers of the JFPL LP and LB cd sleeve and throw those up, too.

HI all I just found this forum while searchig for a review of the Seattle gig.
I wanted to post before I left for the Van gig to meet up with fellow fans, but sadly I was not validated in time.
The Van gig was aces!
