Haha yeah I thought that as I posted it - but if I 'curse' myself to win it, I ain't really complaining!

PS sparkly tiara, the book is lovely and definately worth the £20 I paid for it - tonnes of pics but also a fair bit of text - big long transcription of a chat between Nicky and Jeremy Deller, plus commentary by Nicky on the photos. Although be aware that the vast majority of the pics appear not to be taken by Nicky himself, but by Mitch Ikeda or others (but on the plus side, it means they are decent pics!)

I got the book at the signing last week, I really like it. It's beautifully put together, about 50% are Manics related pics and the rest are arty landscape type shots. The commentary/interviews were also really interesting. Well worth £20. It's a good 300 pages long too and all printed in really nice heavy glossy paper.

Thanks for the review! I wasn't really planning on getting the book, but with more good reviews like this I just might.

Woah, just been to this, first time meeting any of them, was really great.
The interview bit was really interesting...

Interesting points

-Sean kind of led the band's direction in the LB era
-Nicky wishes Sean would do more interviews
-After the Cuba gig, James and Nicky legged it home, but Sean stayed
-Sean tends to just walk off a lot
-James used to take carrots to school, had appendicitis, left the carrots there, and they rotted and smelt

Got a photo, his book signed, IKTZ signed, and he wrote "Stay Beautiful, love Nicky Wire" in my notebook where I write poetry and lyrics.

AND MET CRICRI! And The Ritas
