There were a few "oh FFS" moments at the roundhouse gigs whilst the crowd waited for a single 'curio' - great gig though.

Not heckler, I love them whenever I see them, but it can get a bit ad nauseum. I remember a particularly bad time in Bristol on the Lifeblood tour when James played the intro to Sleepflower, then stopped and said 'nah, can't be bothered'. Pricktease

I want to hear Nostalgic Pushead live. I dont think James' voice could do it anymore, but id love it

That would be ab-sol-lute-ly awesome! I'd love to hear him do the 'so cool the new sound of the decade' bits, and seeing the Stella drinker/Guardian supplement readers mix you seem to get at Manics gigs reacting to the synth riff!

Or even just Sorrow 16 as I'd against my better judgement sneaked a peak at the previous nights set list

I still think the keyboards tend to fuck up the live sound on songs like, again, Faster.
Though, maybe they slowed it coz of, Nicky's back? Maybe?

i dont like how 'everything must go' sounds when it's live.
i just much prefer the album version and sometimes live
sean has a tendency to drum too fast on songs like this one (or is that just me?).
plus james usually buggers up the lyrics when they do it live
... or misses some lyrics out entirely

oh I agree! EMG doesn't sound well live. I prefer the album version

I think this, aswell as many others, sounds too keyboard heavy.
I feel sorry for Nick, then Sean Reid, they get stick, but there really are times when it could be done without

EMG does sound much better on record. And Australia for that matter.

I hate listening to anything live. I mean recorded live not at the gig itself. I'm much to picky, especially with voices, and listen for every fault and flat note. If they brought out a live album I would buy it for the collection but would never listen to it.

I agree with UEF on Australia though. I found it a bit so-so live, just waiting for the next song. We made up for it though by singing the 'Skippy skippy fuck off!' at James every night to make it more entertaining for us.
