I can't imagine it being, as long as you can prove you're on that network?

O2 priority queues are only for O2 venues, which most of them aren't. Plenty of other countries have O2 phones...

Well, Brixton seems to be an O2 venue... We don't have that network in Italy, I'm with Vodafone and my phone display doesn't even show the network logo!

Still, I might consider Mr.selfdestruct's suggestion!

It would be cruel if they didn't let you in for effort, at least.

I'm asthmatic, so 2nd or 3rd row just causes me to be squashed and brings on an attack. It's barrier or the back as far as my lungs are concerned and I'd rather be on the barrier cos I'm also only five feet tall, so I don't mind queuing for 2 or 3 hours before doors to ensure I have a good chance of getting there.
This is pretty much exactly what I was going to say so I'm just quoting it instead I usually accept that I'll be down the back for gigs so stroll in and have a few drinks after doors, but I might be joining yous in Newport's queue!

I actually saved a fake 02 as my phone screensaver and managed to fool the security guys once, it was brilliant.

I don't really like being 2/3 row standing cos when there's a crush I always get the mucky looks from the person (9/10 a girl) in front on the barrier and I try my very best not to get forced forward and crush people. Not my fault but I've always felt a bit weird about it for some reason.I remember one gig, can't remember who it was now, might have been my first Manics gig actually, there was some manic jumping and pushing and this lass on the barrier turned around and kept giving me the evil eye and had a go at me one time. I said I couldn't help it and she swore at me. So I swore back haha!

Exactly. You'll more than likely get an elbow in the face if you tread on some on the barrier at a Manics gig than have them walk off in tears.

So once at the barrier, you're kind of stuck there for the entire support and all the main act and whatever gaps there is between acts? No toilet and no bar? Is it really worth it?

Having to endure The Fun Lovin Criminals while at the barrier before the manics at Reading 02 and dying for a wee and a drink aswell as getting crushed(no pit), made me decide it wasn't worth it in future.

However i would be tempted for at least one of the three gigs, as BSP are supporting. I doubt i will get there early enough, for Newport anyway.
