Holding Patterns sounds like an interesting title to me...and yes, I would much appreciate another Wire solo effort as I really like IKTZ. We'll have to wait and see...

Although I'm not too keen on the football aspect of "Stronger Together", and the insertion of the football commentators makes it pretty unlistenable for me, musically it is a hugely uplifting, catchy, joyous tune. When I saw them play it on the One Show I realised that if they'd released the exact same song with normal Manics lyrics, I'd be pretty thrilled with it. So my hope is that they can capture the energy and spark they put into that song and inject it into their new album - it could be a pretty glorious new era of MSP if they do.
My hope is that they spend the rest of this year working like mad on the new album. It's unlikely, but I'd really love a few gigs in December, because I moved to London from Australia in December 1996 and the first thing I did was see the Manics three times in a row. So I would really love a gig or two from them so I can celebrate my twenty years of Manics gigging! And then the new album and tour some time in 2017. Well, one can dream!
