Yes, crowd was nothing like 10 years ago, everyone jumping and shouting. Unfortunately I was unable to make myself jump either, I feel weird when noone around me joins... anyway I moved a lot during Nixon and was told by james after the gig that he had seen me dancing I also showed thumbs up to Wayne because we talked about Nixon before the gig and he was so kind when he secretly confirmed it after soundcheck. And again Wayne told me me he had looked at me during Nixon Call me Nixon

Well, I was jumping right behind you But I felt ridiculous when everybody else was standing still around. It was nice to meet you, Jakub. Thanks for keeping my bag behind the barriers!

But I will never ever attend any rock show in Lucerna again. Horrible venue, horrible air condition, horrible sound.

It actually was! Even though I was on the balcony (cos I was with non-enthusiasts) - after Berlin's third row it was interesting to get another point of view. And people seemed to be singing their lungs out (although I was the only one on the balcony - poor bastards around me ), and the view was beautiful!

So, did you see people jumping or am I right? I know everybody was singing (I had to laugh when I heard one guy trying to sing The Everlasting ). James is such a great singer.

Sadly I think you're right. But James and Nicky did their share of sports on the stage! They seemed to have a lot of energy to spare, could feel it even up there.

How did you like Peace, Kapris? They're kinda shoegazy, but I was glad their set was short. The last song was pretty good though.

Sean said only Latvia, Denmark and Estonia festivals, no more. James said the night was probably the best so far. Nicky and Wayne enjoyed it as well (me too!!!).

it was my 13th gig and 11th time in the first row.
James was laughing with one roadie that I'm always in the front row. I have all covers signed, my sailor suit and Welsh flag. i'm so happy.

They look good, especially Nick, the outfit makes him seem even younger.

I only saw them in Berlin and the whole time I couldn't stop thinking who the vocalist sounded like. Until I realised he's voice is scarily similar to that of Suede's singer, but that didn't happen until the next day so their set was kind of ruined for me. A pretty good warm-up band I thought, but I didn't feel I needed to see them a second time.

Can't get it out of my head now - I hadn't realised what a sweet song it is until I heard it live.

The Prague show also added a new chapter to my life with the Manics: I went to the gig with the ex from over ten years back who initially made me fall in love with the band. After many very bad years we're actually friends now - feels so good.

I hope not me!!!!! I sang all the time except for shitsongs like MASH, Robeson Tsunami chorus etc. and I heard myself clearly so I often saved my voice alternating in thirds, fifts or also octave sometimes, but at least during the first half I was very loud I hope I didn't spoil someone's evening
But one of the best things was that many times James used the same alternative melodies like I did when he didn't want to sing high notes Oh yes, I heard hundreds of bootlegs...

How different could one's opinion be )) For me Robeson was the absolute low point. I've been hating the song for 11 years now. In Cardiff Coal Exchange 01 for example it was better than the studio version and it had some power - according to bootleg - but this time it was sooo boring. But I'm glad you enjoyed it. Like Wayne Murray said after the gig there was something for everyone!
