It was well made, insightful, entertaining but at an hour and a half I felt it was too much.

Personally the time flew past for me whilst watching it. Do you think the losing an hour of it for the legacy and limited edition release will be too much of a cut?

Snap. I was glued so many new stories and the Manics were on top form telling those stories. It was a joy and I was gutted when the credits appeared.

So glad I went it was worth the journey. Just hearing them be so relaxed and tell stories was brilliant.

According to the official Manic's promo email sent out this morning:

DVD: 'Culture, Alienation, Boredom and Despair: a film about Generation Terrorists' Over seventy minutes of footage & Interviews with the Manics and several pivotal players in the band's early career discussing everything from early gigs and singles through to the recording, release and emotional resonance of that epochal debut.'

Doesn't sound like much will be cut after all?

I think the documentry that was screened was about 80 % interview. I'd imagine there would be alot more live footage in this DVD.

Something else you could only get to if you were in Cardiff or London........

What about us who live in the damp and cold (but beautiful) north????
