On paper it looked like a dream joint tour, but in reality are the fan bases of both bands so overlapped that they had little extra attendance than touring individually but having to split the money made between two bands?

Yeah. I do like suede a lot, so this was great. But seeing one third of the people leave after then in NY was crazy. And some that paid TOP DOLLAR to be up front. It’s crazy but that’s what happened

I noticed lots of people leaving after the Manics in Vancouver. But overall I say the pairing worked.

Yeah, saw that. Makes me sad....even if I kind of already assumed their last tour in NA would be the last. Feel very fortunate they came through this year.

Realistically, if this means more time in the studio and more albums, I’m okay with it. Occasional flight to the UK to watch them again.
