I have many wonderful memories of having to wind half eaten tape back in to the proper spool.

Cassettes WERE great in their heyday. Music in the car, Sony Walkman, mixtapes, ZX Spectrum games, recording your parents being rude about relatives and then blackmailing them. What's not to love?

shop bought faulty albums. I ended up with a fair few of those. never had to return an LP

I think that "Forever Delayed" might just be the most underrated song in the entire Manics canon.
