Smile

so i bought NME today for only the second time ever the first time I swore I'd never buy it again and well my irrational obsession with the Manics demanded that I lift the embargo this once, there's some other songs on the disc but really what's the point of their existance? J'amie bien le Manics, ils tres beaucoup

I like it, but I wish James hadn't ballsed-up the Middle 8 - the original's is better. The 'you can run into my arms...' bit just sounds lazy on the manics version.

I've had it on about 20 times today Don't like the original version much I have to say. The rest of the free CD is pretty naff, I don't think I'll ever listen to anything off it again as I've ripped the Umbrella cover onto my PC.

After hearing the original and the Brit awards one with the Klaxons, I'd say that the Manics version wins by a long stretch I've played it over and over all day

I Lightspeed Champion anyway so he was nice to hear. MCR works quite well too. I've listened to Bloc Party alot too and that's nice - quite a cool take on it.

His voice doesn't suit it. It ruins it.
