First time since the 90s that a manics has been out this long without me hearing it. I bought it the other day online. Not here yet though.

Having to listen to the UK mix of THB for once. Goddamn this sounds castrated compared to the US mix, it's actually a bit awkward to listen to :I.

Get your ass over the the controversial thread!

Not listened to the US mix in a while, but i do at least love IWATTTFODIWWFA and She Is Suffering.

They should have released the US version of the latter as the single version in the UK.

It varies for me. IfWhiteAmerica sounds much better in the US mix because it's a very heavy kind of rockist song. Whereas Of Walking Abortion sounds amazing in the UK mix because there's a definite post-punk edge to the song...reminds of me of early PiL...

I only just noticed this morning that the lead guitar solos for "Ifwhiteamerica..." and "She Is Suffering" are incredibly similar when they start.
