I reckon most Phil Collins fans will have bought his new covers album last week, as it sold over 30k. I reckon the Manics will get another #2 album which is no bad thing. I just hope it can hang around a while and sell some decent amounts.

Hah, even on first day sales it's nearly beat Lifeblood's 23,990 first week sales...

Had Lifeblood been released last week it would have been #6 with those sales.

EDIT: Postcards From A Young Man still at #1 in the midweeks.

We have to wait for tomorrow for a new update, and maybe some news on the sales

I reckon one of the reasons the single did rubbish is because people have went for the album instead. It's getting rave reviews, and Play and Amazon have it as MP3 Album of the Week/Editor's Choice, so I see no reason why it can't end the week at number 1.

Just as long as it finished above the fucking appalling Maroon 5 and The Script...

The Welsh trio are leading their way with their new studio album, 'Postcards From A Young Man', but have sold just 10 per cent more copies than Collins' 'Going Back' in the midweek figures.
