For me next sleepflower should be Yourself. Could also switch Born to End/ Little Baby Nothing with So Dead, Slash N Burn or Loves Sweet Exile. Also want to hear more album tracks from 96 & 98 - Girl that wanted to be God, My Little Empire, Nobody Loved You, Enola etc. Something from Lifeblood, If White America/Archives/Die in the Summrtime. Judge Y'rself. Indian Summer - where did it go?? I'll stop now.......

I know that these aren't songs that they've never played or not played for a really long time, but I'd like Miss Europa Disco Dancer to come back (if only for James' funky disco dance moves!) or, To Repel Ghosts. On the more obscure front, Montana/ Autumn 78 would be ace, or Dead Yankee Drawl!

Yeah, seems a bit bizaare doesn't it? I would have thought that was a near definite for december given they didn't play it this time around. Just because it's got a dodgy edit isn't a good reason not to play it live lads.

I think that Underdogs and You Love Us inhabit the same 'space', in terms of the band / fan interaction. You Love Us is pretty much embedded in the setlist, so Underdogs isn't going to get a chance.
Also, I don't think James is going to take the risk of singing 'people like you need to fuck people like me' in front of hundreds of adrenaline charged fans,

When I first heard Underdogs and I got to that lyric, I did wonder if they'd leave that song out. Unless of course, James DOES want to be bombarded by JDBAS..........

Mausoleum or 1985 would be nice. Spectators of Suicide came on my iPod driving in today so that would be good to hear too. Even Interiors.

I fancy Slash 'N Burn to make a return come December.

I think you may be right. I think the new Sleepflower does need to be something the band are ambivalent about, so I'm going to have to go with...
Revol! Personally, I'd love to hear My Little Empire, Born A Girl, So Dead, Life Becoming A Landslide. And bring back Roses! Judge yr'self should also make an appearance. |

Love's Sweet Exile
Jimmy abhorrs it but if we start shouting for it in December and continue from there, we should get it by the time of the very final Manics gig, complete with Patrick Jones making a guest appearence for the intro. |

Prolouge To History has been played several times when they were promoting Lipstick Traces (not that they did many gigs then, but i saw them do it anyway ). My Little Empire was done alot during Past Present Future, so its not much of a rarity for me. nor is Judge Yr'self.
PCP is probably the likely one. im not sure if theyve played it recently beyond the opening chords James did during the FD tour at one gig. |
