Well, if it was live streamed on the internet they'd effectively be inviting about 2 billion people though...

Oh stop being pedantic, you know what I meant I'll watch it of course, but if they're doing it live and streaming it anyway, they may as well do an actual gig.

I know! They did live stream that Back to Blackwood gig....

If they did do a gig it would likely be invite only though.

Loads of bands do those live streams on their own. It'd be great to watch, especially as it would basically be them playing stuff relaxed and casual. Sure I can watch Manics gigs all day on youtube if I wanted! This is a welcome change.

Radiohead's basement videos are an example of live streams done properly.

A live stream that's just them rather than with fans watching will be cool. Looking forward to that then!

‘There’s amazing versions of ‘Born to End’ and ‘Natwest…’ and ‘Methadone Pretty’, because they all became a little slower and more ‘stadium rockified’. These are more in the vein of ‘Motown Junk, really’’

Sounds perfect. Just hope there are similar versions for the rest of the tracklisting, as well.

I hope there's a good quality live version of Motorcycle Emptiness with James's different vocal melody, though I don't know when he started doing that. It might be as late as 2002.

See he's being stubborn and saying no gigs and also its not the right time...

Well it is the right time, and also surely in the spirit of that album it is ok to break one rule? They did it all the time back then!

Looking forward to the re-release, as bad an album as it may be i have a feeling the demos are going to be superior versions of everything.

Totally agree... If the songs are "full band" versions with real drums etc etc then we should have something to look forward to!

An alternative version of Stars and Stripes Repeat and no alternative Condemned after all? Very curious.

At least it's nice that they're not keeping the demos etc for the 3CD version. Or, well, at least that's how I'm reading that.

Nicky stated in NME that CTRAR was done in the studio from scratch with no alternative. That is the only version of it.
