I remember seeing several copies of the Australia promo for sale soon after it came out at Music and Video Exchange in Notting Hill Gate. I bought one for £20.

i'm also skeptical about the number, as 20 is just TOO limited. Like someone said, i think sculpture of a bloke - it sounds like a ridiculous number of copies to bother with.

ON THE OTHER HAND THOUGH - i really haven't seen that many. Perhaps 4 or 5, no more than that. Apparently the one i bought was only available on discogs for a couple of hours at best when i bought it, as i happened to be looking. Reently one sold for about 15 pounds, so i dont know. It's limited, surely, but perhaps not that limited. Oh well.

ON ANOTHER NOTE - i figured that the best way to spend money is to go after a few japanese shit. And while i got stay beautiful for 99c, You Stole The Sun for another 99c, and eyeing some more, i also got KYE, LB and SATT on the 2 CD Reissue for $105, delivered. Bargain, eh? lol

Also got stay beautiful, faster and slash 'n' burn - both US [first was a full release, faster & slash n burn are us promos]

Anyone here got the "Scream to a sigh (la tristesse durera)" with the from despair to where artwork - US Promo? WHats a fair price for it?

Hats off to the collection updates.

I like to use EIL as a guide for prices, if I can get anything half their price or less I'm quite happy. They've got it £16 on there now, I'm sure I got mine for about £6 or £7. Think this is about the best you'll get: http://www.musicstack.com/item/304881760

By the way, you heard of www.allcollection.net? Some great bargains on there.
Motorcycle Emptiness Spanish Promo €2
From Despair To Where Spanish promo for €7. EIL are after £45 for it, they're a bit optimistic...

that's a pretty cool website. the Euro is actually not too bad right now so it's much better, conversion wise.

i went on a frenzy and bought some more stuff recently. i'll take pics when all's here. i need to stop though :/

P.S. - dont you hate typos?
example - is it "No-One Knows..." or "No One Knows..." ??? FFS.

Thanks for the La Tristesse update... i didn't get it yet, as it's widely available. Cant wait for the stuff that's on the way... including 4 Japan EP's that i got for about $35 including shipping.

I like them sometimes, makes things a bit more unusual. The original Japanese Everything Must Go has Black Barden on it, apparently. Oh and there's a This Is My Thruth Tell Me Yours out there that I wouldn't mind getting hold of...

My magazine collection. I just used the ones that have the Manics on the cover, I have about 20 other magazines with them in but not on the cover. I used to have loads more but I cut them up for my scrap book

NME Originals is great. I only got that for $5 back in the day a few blocks away from my house! They used to bring UK magazines and charge over $12 or so, and I convinced the guy that the magazine came with a CD that was not imported here or was stolen. So he gave it to me reduced Some of the best five bucks i've spent. Great stuff.

Great to see some of those magazines up close, riot star - I don't think I've seen the NME 26 December 1998 or that Select one on the top right of the first pic scanned in before big or anything as well now that I think about it.

Gah, I can't believe there was a copy of NME Originals up on eBay and I didn't notice, I generally check (I should put a watch on that search)! I'd really like one of those some day.
