Yeah - that is interesting. Assuming the Holy Bible stuff is for the end of this year (and won't go international) that might just mean a run of summer festivals to keep them busy.

Seems odd to do a 20th anniversary in the 21st year...but maybe they decided to do it and couldn't get organised in time to do euro this year, and i guess technically they have until august 2015 .

Please remember that us Finns aren't native English speakers and even though the Manics' music travels well their Welsh accent does not. So misunderstanding is always a possibility.

Yes, Wire just all of a sudden attacked his microphone and started shouting "I promise you Helsinki that we will be/come back later to play The Holy Bible for you in full!!!", or something very much along those lines. In May he said the same thing calmly between songs, and at Flow it was just an outburst.
And at the end James did say that they will be back next year to give us something special.

Oh and I must add that in May I went to the shows in Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen as well, and nothing about THB was mentioned again. So I actually am pretty confident we will get the full THB show eventually! Wire also did an interview for a Finnish evening paper, where he stated that they know that Finns enjoy their darker material, especially The Holy Bible.... so all signs point to the right direction

Hi, yeah just to reiterate what jenvidg said - at the end of Futurology Wire changed the lyrics to "We'll come back one day... to play the Holy Bible in its fucking entirety!"

He sang a few lines of Garageland by The Clash at one point too, possibly before introducing Revol.

Really enjoyed the set. This was the first time I'd seen the band outside of the UK so it was pretty special for me. I understand the reasons for it but ADFL in the middle of the set is really weird!
