They've posted one saying "TRUTH" now with Futurology 14/09/14 underneath.

It is an obvious single but not a great choice. New bsides and O2 tracks though I guess. The video should be interesting.

The word "Futurology" doesn't appear in the song... I think stuff like this makes a difference as to how much of a hit it becomes.

A radio edit of a 3-minute song. That tells you how confident they are about it.

'We've All Killed Some Ants' would have been an attention-grabbing alternative song title.

I think the days of wondering if a Manics single is going to be a hit or not are well and truly over.

To be fair, Anthem was deserving of a #200. Not sure #99 was fair for WMTTB though!

Prediction: another shameless 'banker' single in the form of YLAINE on the next album to keep the mansion going.

It really hurts to see how the bands latest singles chart compaired to the 1990's. They should just stick to albums and release the odd EP.

Anthem deserved a far better chart position than it got!

I didn't know WMTTB got to No. 99, when did somebody add that on there? I think that's been made up to be honest. Anthem had two vinyl released to support it and it only made No.200. Wow. That's really sad. If Futurology is indeed the next single I can't see it making the top 200 even, I don't see it as single material personally, it's just a decent album track but I guess cos they play it live all the time currently supports it being released as a single. I just want a cool video and some TV performances for the band.

It's definitely the date of the single launch. That date is printed on the promo sticker.
