Where’s the best place to buy the white vinyl + International Blue/Holding Patterns 7” from?

I’m probably gonna go with these guys.

I ordered mine from Banquet records in Kingston. Usually get my recordstore day releases from them when they go online. Oh. No 7 inch. Didn't see that bit ..

I went with Banquet for the white vinyl too. Managed to get a blue IB 7” ordered too, but I don’t know if they still have them now.

Just got the 5 copies of the album coming then. Lol. If they’re really going for that no.1 I am glad to help.

Just wanted to say thank you for being the one to bring this to the forum’s attention yesterday, what a lovely surprise.

I feel bad for everyone who missed it, but not long to go now.

It usually around this time, the album tracks get an airing on BBC6 or what have you. Pretty sure all of RTF was played before it was eventually released.

Also thank you Danc. it made my Thursday morning less Thursday-ee.

I’ve transcribed Liverpool Revisited to the best of my abilities.

As someone who picks everything to pieces and complains about them repeating lyrics in verses, I was drawn to this one because until the very end it almost managed to be a Manics song that doesn’t repeat a single line or have a chorus. The rarest of things.

As I wake to a sunset
The light dances on the Mersey
And I think of the 96
As the tears fall down on me

There is courage, there is pride
You can see it in your eyes
Fight for justice, fight for life
There are angels in these skies

As the night falls around me
I see joy and devotion
These times will never leave
Like the rain on the ocean

There is dignity and pride
There is poetry and life
There are ghosts within these stones
There’s defiance in these bones

And all the hatred they tried to throw at you
And yet you stayed so strong
Yeah, all that hatred, it never was the truth
So keep keeping on

This is forever
We’ll never leave you now
This is forever
We’ll never leave you now

If SYMM was a more subtle reference to Hillsborough, then Liverpool Revisited seems almost designed to be sung from the terraces with its straight up lyrics
