Victorious 2021
Not sure if anyone else has tickets, but I'll be the short arse with the grey hair and the New Art Riot vest loitering about. Always happy to meet new Manics fans, though I am made up of 90% anxiety so if you're from here please let me know ❤️
(I am friendly and many people from this forum can vouch for me)

I'm curious to see if they play different tracks off TUVL or stick to the same as the last setlist. From what I've read in interviews they reckon they can play the whole album live inside out.

Got this huge vibe they start off with Orwellian and the crowd (Disgruntled Ashcroft fans or is there an overlap?) throw shit going "No! This isn't something I'm familiar with despite it being played on the Radio and making me think 'well my initial preference for The Verve over the Manic Street Preachers is being challenged in front of my very eyes".
Well if I get updates, I'll post them here. |

If you scroll down you'll eventually find pictures of Frank Turner making it look like one man entertaining the whole crowd.
Then if you scroll further you find a picture of Frank Turner with the other two members of his band! https://mobile.twitter.com/victoriousfest?lang=en Not on yet. Good to see people here! |

No surprises obviously but I’ve been told that the last half of the set is:
You Stole The Sun International Blue New song Tolerate Another song that isn’t a hit (might be a cover or a new one - apparently quite heavy). Tsunami You Love Us Design For Life I don’t think The Secret He Had Missed has been played. The first half sounds a bit of a mix with fewer hits but I might be wrong. Sounds like the set started quiet and then got louder. Or The Streets were told to wind it in So at least one or two new songs. Hopefully someone on FD can confirm the rest. Another edit ffs - James in very good voice Last edited by Lee; 28-08-2021 at 21:55. |

It might be completely wrong so don’t thank us just yet
I think the heavy / new song after Tolerate is actually Tsunami. Relying on my 61-year-old Mum who lives opposite the site and likes the Manics and knows a lot of their songs (obviously after living with me for the first 18 years of my life) but she was sat on her balcony relaying it. She knows all the hits and buys the albums but I wouldn’t expect her to know Let Robeson Sing for example Last edited by Lee; 28-08-2021 at 22:16. |

Why are they doing TWO covers when they have 14 albums of their own material???? Seriously, come on lads, don't become a tribute act. One is fine, though, and will be happy to witness Sweet Child O Mine at Halifax!
I have just seen that the Anchoress won't be supporting them now, shame. I was interested in seeing her live and I guess she would have sang vocals on Little Baby Nothing and TSHHM
