More than 15 new artists have been added to the star studded line-up to mark Arthur's Day, it has been announced.

Rock legends Manic Street Preachers, David Gray, Dublin singer-songwriter Cathy Davey and Oscar-winning actor turned musician Tim Robbins will be among 60 acts raising a glass of Guinness on September 23.

A limited number of additional tickets for 28 pub venues in Dublin, Cork and Galway are to go on sale.

Hopefully theres a Cork date i start college there in september would be alot easier than traveling to Dublin!

Oooh oooh oooh! Is this going to be a full set or what?? According to the Guinness website they are playing at St Jame's Gate on September 23rd along with Snow Patrol and Biffy Clyro. Tickets are 10 euro (!) but are currently not on sale. Hmmmmmm! http://www.guinness.com/en-ie/arthursday/listing.html

Aw, Snow Patrol, Biffy and the Manics would be amazing. Hope you Irish folk find a way to get tickets somehow.

Right is there def no chance of tickets cos it says on that website

Could this apply to the St Jame's Gate one I wonder?? Why the fuck would the Manics agree to make this their only Irish date thus far. It's the week of release of their new album and not many at that venue are going to give a fuck about them, as they have bought their tickets for Shite Patrol/Biffy and not the Manics!

Argh, I didn't realise! Forgot about that. Maybe they can get Editors, Franz Ferdinand, Arcade Fire and of course SLOWDIVE, on the bill too.
