Sadly, if they didn't come when playing in Aus, it seems unlikely.

Wellington, New Plymouth and 2x Hamilton (I think that must be their 'home base'?). And then, er, Auckand I guess, if they actually make it through their pool?!

Of course we couldn't have a New Zealand thread without degenerating into talk about rugby

It's a semi-private joke from someone I know who lives in the area. It just kinda stuck. Like an earworm. The person in question always called it that.

Well, it is relevant to our interests! And the Manics'. New Plymouth always seems to have loads of concerts for a place its size, maybe they should have a Manics gig or two. I'm based in Hamilton, but will probably be overseas by the time of the RWC. I would definitely change my mind if the Manics were coming go play a show, however. It means that much!

Bluehammer posted Michael Coppel's (the tour promoter) email address in one of the Aus threads - thought I'd put it here so that we can all email them to ask them to arrange an NZ gig next time!

mcpinfo@coppel.com.au is the address.
