You are so, so right. I love the demo/Heavenly versions but the version that ended up on the album is a travesty. What a shame as this song had a lot of promise and it really could have been much much more. The acoustic version at Rough Trade was beautifully done as well.

MSP don't really do radical changes between demo and final thing, so it was nice to hear a few versions that were quite telling.... so for example the Motorcycle Emptiness solo must have been reversed in the studio, as it is played in a slightly different order on the demo. Oh and Spectators of Suicide should have been like the demo version. Could have been a hit in that format!
