3 musicians with their own studio will not take 3 years to re-appear with a new album. I think Jimbo always says these things cos I think he feels the pressure more than anyone else in the band as writer, musical director, singer, lead guitarist etc etc in actually writing and delivering the album.

I suppose it depends on how many of them there are on a single album; 3-4 would be the absolute limit for me, haha!

I'm looking forward to a 3 year break. We've had 2 albums and some great gigs in the last year or so, and good things always come out of their little haitii.

There's still some end of year THB gigs to keep us warm in the meantime

I'd say I'm more interested in seeing what they'd do for a soundtrack rather than another album anytime soon.

I'm with you. Their taking a break just means working away behind the scenes in the studio, planning and coming up with new projects and "what to do next". It's just code for "We're not releasing anything for 3 years" (well make that 18 months to 2 years) The longest time they'll probably take off is a couple of weeks for a family beach holiday then back to the Man-shed.

Personally it's great that the band have had great reviews for Futurology, but is this the best time for them to be going into hibernation?

They should do a tour, release an EP and take a bit of time off to do family things and then come back in 2016 with their 13th LP.

They'll get bored of family stuff, sitting around all day doing nothing. James should release another solo album but we all know he won't bother doing that.

I think they will definitely make good use of Faster Studios but will spend a while doing things at their own pace. I guess they'll return when they want to.

They will return no matter how much it hurts and no sales hurt
