Same this year, in small letters above the band names

Hylands Park = Essex chavs with ear rings
Weston Park = Stafford and those from the north

cheers!
I'd love to go to Essex, how fast do daily the tickets sell out? it's not a long way from London or Stansted after all

Anywhere between a few hours to a few weeks/months. The rule of thumb with UK festivals is "if you want to go, go and be ready to buy a ticket"

Stanstead is probably closer than London is!

That said (other than spending power) it's NOTHING on Glasto.

alright! I'd like to go to Britain again this year and if they don't play in Europe this seems fine to me.

I have no interest in the acts announced so far apart from the Manics and Duran Duran, both of which I am seeing in May/June at their own gigs anyway. So er, no thanks.

Grrrrr at the fact that we still don't know what day Manics are doing.
I keep changing my mind about whether to go or not and I was going to base it on who else was playing on that day but we have no idea still. The tickets go on sale tomorrow and everything.

Go to both, enjoy yourself! It won't be the best MSP gig you've been to (your signature has my 2 favourites on it!)

That said, my first MSP gig was a one-dayer, V2002. The ticket was £25 as I recall... how much are they now?

When I saw the Manics at Connect for the day it was about £50. That's just Connect, God knows what others charge!

efestivals seems to think that they're on the main stage. Hope they don't get an afternoon slot, that would suck.
