Futurology Vinyl

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere but has anyone else noticed how shockingly bad the sound is on the vinyl version of Futurology? I've had two copies and they're both the same, muffled and broken up. It's not my player as I've not had this problem with any other record.

My Futurology sounds ok - Rewind the Film on the other hand is pretty shockingly bad...

Mine always sounded fine. A slight touch of inner-groove distortion on 'Sex, Love, Power, Money', but that's to be expected if you have such a loud track at the end of a side.

Mine is the complete opposite.

Welcome to 21st century vinyl. Every modern release has this discussion on the Discogs listing. Bad pressings abound, and frequently they're not uniformly bad. One reason I went back to CDs.

I'll try another one and see if that helps.
