I Never Wanted Sunshine is one of the best things JDB has ever done, Manics and all, so the fact that he was able to shove this as a B-side means I'm giving this 'EP' an 8.

i think he should have saved those b-sides and released another album with them. he could have easily done that. those tracks are to good to be b-sides!

I have all of these except for Kodachrome Ghosts and I Never Wanted Sunshine - does anyone have an mp3 of these that they could send me? Please? revol @ buggs.net

Just so you know I'm not being cheap or anything, I have the others because they're available on itunes in the U.S., so I did purchase them, but those two are not.

I would appreciate it SO much!!!

I love 'I Never Wanted Sunshine' and 'Silver Birch Bonfire Blues'. They're easily good enough for an album (or A-side) but in a way I quite enjoy finding songs like that tucked away as extra songs. Its a shame B-sides wont be around much longer

Its tragic but I think were condemned to a couple of 'exclusive' iTunes tracks that you have to fork out 8 quid re-buying the whole album to get!!

i think b-sides will live on with those bothered to release vinyl singles..they'll just become super limited editions. I agree the ol cd single is probably on its way out
