Did you ever hear the one from 2005 at the Royal Court?

If Morrissey can box off the Echo Arena for 8000, there's no reason the band can't?

I doubt the Manics ability to pull 8000 nowadays really, SATT was almost 3 years ago and whilst people still know they exist (thankfully) they just don't hold that much appeal. In my opinion anyway.

They should play the Bumper! So I can walk backstage and rip on them.

I was gonna say is there actually anywhere in Liverpool for them to play? The Carling Academy or University would be alright I spose, The Royal Court is now a comedy venue seeing as it was passed unfit shortly after the Manics played there (and to be fair it was a right shit hole). Get 'em down The Cavern with support from The Mersey Beatles! Or Nicky and a tambourine could play Korova.

Ah Bumper, God I hated that place. Bar Hannah's would be ace for an acoustic gig

Seconded.

I think they could tour, wasnt there a ''see you next year'' at Wolves, but they do like to lie.

Yes, never take a Manic 100% at his word! But hope they come back to Wolves again soon!

oh really productive? so give us albums year by year, please. I'm so impatient about their works but it somehow means that they're planning being together until 2011 yes?

It's ok! They won't split in 2011!

If they announced a one off stadium gig, and it was publicised it would only be a one off, could they sell enough these days to fill at least one arena for the hell of it?
Otherwise, festival dates only possible way, I hope they escape the "Other Stage"

they'd fill the O2 if it was just one date and they hadnt played in a while.. if they did only one set of dates instead of two lots ..they'd fill venues easy. Casual fans who've seen em once already per album arent going to want to go twice and its the casual fans that sell out tours not the diehards
