Black Square
How about some love for this track?
Could have been on Lifeblood, I think. Really hope they play this one live, it's well constructed and it has a great breakdown section towards the end that reminds me a little of Red Rubber.

It's a solid album track but not loving or hating it right now.

Was my favourite until I heard the whole album!
Now it's The Next Jet... But it's one I keep singing along to - badly |

One of the catchier melodic tracks on the album. It's got some bite too.

Have to go against the flow on this but my least favourite song on the record, just boringly pedestrian like a bad b-side.

It's a good, solid, album track but it isn't particuarly exciting really. It is enjoyable but not on par with Divine Youth or Misguided Missile.

Contender for my favourite.

As above, probably one of my favourites, especially because of the urgency of the chorus and that synth(?) thing throughout the song.

I love the middle section, the sudden change to that atmospheric piece before the chorus returns.

Definitely one of my faves so far, for me with this track especially you get a real sense from the music of openness and movement that the band were looking for.

Would have sit nicely on Lifeblood, I think.

I like it, verse is quite standard but the chorus is gorgeous. I know it'll be one of those songs where I listen to it just for those few seconds of juicy goodness that is the lush chorus.

I like this one a lot, the chorus in particular. The lyrics are nice and concise, too.

Strongest melody on the album I'd say. Chorus has stuck in my head all day. Demo (which is also glorious) makes me wonder if it was planned as a RTF song. Odd that they removed the lyrics that actually refer to 'black square' too
