Repeat (Stars and Stripes) was saved from the dumb flag scum... which means Working Class Hero has become the worst album track.
The search for the worst B-side continues, however, with Out of Time falling out of touch.

Can we put these polls to bed now?

We lost the Manics Musicians thread/section a while back for goodness sake and yet we have threads and threads on polls and polls filling up the forum.

Uh it's not like anyone else is creating threads. I imagine these polls are responsible for 50% of the post count for the last year.

Nah.

Losing Manics Musicians was a management issue, not any sort of limitation. A typical forum thread amounts to little more than a few KB. A subforum like Manic Musicians, maybe a few MB. When the entire FD Database was leaked a few years ago (someone left it in the htdocs folder after deleting the index.htm file, leaving it available for anyone to download), the entire site amounted to barely more than 100MB. That's about 10p's worth of storage space. In terms of software limitations, MySQL is effectively unlimited, and so is VBulletin. Literally, the entire 2400-strong registered userbase of this forum and the next three generations of their families could post a thread a day for the rest of their lives, and it'd still comfortably fit on a £50 SSD. There was absolutely no valid reason for them to delete Manics Musicians. If they did it because they thought it was 'filling up the forum', that's 2000-era Bash.org-level stupid.

Manic musicians was merged with other music with the pre 2009 threads being expunged along with all the others.

Failure Bound has been left in the evening sun... meaning What Happened to the Blue Generation has become the worst B-side!
But now it's time to determine the worst song of them all: WHTTBG or Working Class Hero.

Yeah, What Happened to the Blue Generation is awesome, it’s not remotely the worst RIF-era B-side, never mind worst overall IMHO!! Doesn’t really matter though, just a fun poll!

What Happened to What Happened to the Blue Generation?!

I'll take this opportunity to thank WhatsaManic for all their hard work. I have a lesser view of the people here because of their collective choices but it's been interesting.

Maybe time to post the result of this one and close the poll?

Apologies for my absence over the past week, but I've been on holiday some distance away from a computer; sure, I could have used my phone, but trying to format is pretty painful. Anyway, I let the final day run for a little longer, which has resulted in Working Class Hero winning the Worst Manics Song title.
Best of the Best survivor starts tomorrow, make sure to be there.

Good poll. And I've been wondering about all the Manics chords and tabs in that Musicians thread, strange why it disappeared.... strange why everyone from this forum has disappeared too! I check it few times a week but sadly there's very little new to read.
