Running Out Of Fantasy. The entire song has me in tears. Especially the "exposed to the inner lie" line. Beautiful.

'Cherry blossom tree, but at least you were free, nobody loved you like me'

The fact that that line comes loaded with so much personal meaning, and the way james belts it out, can't believe I forgot to put it first time.

What manics songs and bits give you that same feeling?

The bit specificly was Starbright keep me safe, today and tonight

Maybe I'm very very wrong, but I remember reading somewhere during the TIMT era (possibly on the big poster/interview gig thingy) that Be Natural was at one point set to be the lead single for the album? Before they wrote or recorded Tolerate?

Hard to think of them all at once... great idea for a topic.

The first song that comes to mind is Ready For Drowning - firstly, "fascinated by good, destroyed by evil, what is there to believe in?" leading into the second chorus; secondly, the sample ("I will bring the whole edifice down..."), and thirdly, as the song is finishing up, when the melody comes in again.

The second bridge in Epicentre - "I'm breaking and I'm shaking, so delete the feeling, beneath the real thing"... and again, with the pained-sounding "Ah!" before the final chorus.

"Drop your bombs on all I see" - Solitude Sometimes Is
