Manics to play Vienna on April 28th?

WTF!?
Tickets to go on sale tomorrow?
This is the website of the gig promoter, well-known reliable local organizer...

I thought it was two year hiatus? I'm not expecting any UK shows for two years. Outside the UK, all bets are off. (Googles that phrase to see if it makes sense in this context and yes! It does!)

Well they said a 2 year uk hiatus, I think, with hints of non-uk shows.

Ooh, I wish I could go. I have a friend who's travelling through Vienna in April and could make it, but she's not even a Manics fan.

But I hope everyone going has a fantastic time!

From what Nicky's said, "hiatus" equals "No UK shows and no new material." He told the NME earlier this month they would still do some shows outside the UK, and he mentioned on twitter wanting to do a show in Japan.

This is making me frown. Hmm. If it is true they're taking the mick with no announcement and very much taking the mick with the whole break threats!

Silly Manics, glad I'm not the only one who read it as Manics covering Ultravox.
