i watched it all last night in bed, there was something not quite right about it, it seemed really insincere, especially simon price. left me a bit cold.

I remember this being one of the first things I saw about the Manics, I was a bit freaked out by it. After seeing the Faster TOTP thing I read a few bits in the old style NME which worried me about Richey but this doc just seems to glorify it in a strange kind of way. At the time I bought into it a bit though, until the Close Up thing was on, that kinda set the record straight slightly more.

It's just a crap documentary, the only Manics music they use is Suicide is painless, they get some pointless guests Sean Ryder and Boy George. The latter I remember saying ( oculd be wrong here) the lyrics to Generation Terrorists were disturbing, if that wasn't clear bollocks I don't know what is. But I've got to say I've only watched 5 minuets of it, I keep turning off becasue it's a really bad documentary.

I've seen her look scarier - on one of the old Spectators Of Suicide comp. videos, when she talks about her poem influencing Richey, she's got no make up on and has these scarily intense eyes.

All the Richey era fans I knew years ago hated her.

Take your pick of:
a) She claimed that Richey had used some of her poem and was lying just to get attention;
or
b) There were three lines the same in her poem as in the lyric (which was either coincidental, or Richey did indeed borrow them).... and some people were very, very jealous.

Her poem's still online here... she likes exclamation marks, that's all i can say.

One line is a bit similar, hardly theft is it.
What shocked me more were the allegations being made on one page refering to Richey! Heard about it in the past but never saw it online.

Richey nicked lines from Becky Craig!

That's hilarious!

Even if he did nick the line from her, which I doubt, she nicked the name of her poem from one of his songs so it's all square!

Is Lori Fidler the girl JDB was reportedly shouting angrily at outside a gig somewhere on his solo tour?
