I had to ask for mine as a Christmas present, no way I can afford it!

if you happen to have a 10 year old DVD player then it might be a struggle, but then again you can always get lots of free software that allows you to decrypt and recode a DVD, burning to a blank in whatever format / zone you wish for.
Cheers! Thanks gentlemen for the reassurance. I'm only really buying this anniversary issue because of the DVD so I'd prefer not to have any problems with it.

It's not that it's NTSC that it's a problem as such, just that NTSC itself is lower spec than PAL.

It says on the Rough Trade site that the vinyl is limited to 1,000. That won't sell out either.

PS. On the same site, it also says this:

What's that supposed to mean? I take it their definition of rebooted isn't the same as mine.

You're right, but that's because you chose paypal! I preordered by debit card a week ago and haven't been charged yet. It was somewhere in the smallprint/faq that while paypal will collect the money straightaway, cards will be charged on shipping. Otherwise I'd be screwed, cause that's my car insurance money I've irresponsibly squandered on the Manics...

Could be worse. Imagine being a Led Zeppelin completist.

On a related note, amazon.co.uk is never going to get around to putting a price on the GT vinyl. It's been on Amazon's other sites for weeks now. Looks like HMV and Rough Trade are the only places where it's available to order in the UK.
Those Led Zeppelin editions are very confusing. All I wanted was the Bluray but then I found the Bluray/CD edition for £1 more (that's the Bluray/CD in the CD case, not the Bluray/CD in the Bluray Case or the CD/Bluray/DVD in the DVD case - not to be confused with the CD/Bluray/DVD in the CD case or the CD/Bluray/DVD in the Bluray case). And the prices are all over the shop.

The GT vinyl is also available at Townsend Records btw

Ahh...guess it always pays to read the small print!! Should have realised at time, however I had problems with my play accepting card details for the PFAYM box set so PayPal seemed the quicker/easier (and safer) route. Cheers tho!

Put my order in. Went for the deluxe version but not the one with the vinyl as I'm not bothering with that! Got enough bits of vinyl that I can't use!

These CD1 samples aren't the one you're looking for...

...but they will tell you that the loudness war soldiers aren't going to like this newly-remastered noisy mofo.

GT is now too loud!
