Weekend announcement or a couple of weeks time? We're closer to it than we were when the thread was started... In 2020!

Would be interesting to see if they include the Louder Than War DVD with any of the formats.

I think we've gone quite a way beyond when KYE was closer to the beginning of the band to where we are now! Never trust a word the band say about their future or their plans!

Doesn’t look like it.
Speaking of DVDs - I wish they’d reissue everything on blu ray. But that’s require some work so I don’t see it happening.

I remember this really being a feeling at the time. I recently found a backup of my very first website, one of those charmingly naff old web 1.0 "all about me" things where I had a section for every one of my favourite bands. The Manics news page said something like "New album confirmed for later this year. Sadly it will probably be their last."

What’s the usual lag between a proper MSP (or JDB) announcement and a release? 18th of August seems real soon to have not really announced anything, if it is indeed coming out then (or around then).

Unless i've missed something, i believe this has only been announced by the french site? Have Manics posted anything on their social channels?

I'd start preparing. Four minute warning mentality.

If they do a kye showcase or even gigs with a good proper display of the album rather than singles plus one or two I'm there in an instant.

I'm hoping that the *delay* in the announcement is due to nail down a couple of showcase dates because otherwise it seems a bit odd they are holding off so much.

The website has jiggled a couple of times today. No changes, but someone is obviously readying something.

Stand by your beds.

They announced the new playlist yesterday on the website (the first update in around three months) so at least whoever runs the site has refound the passwords.

Is 'Walk Me To The Bridge' still coming soon?
