Manics tribute band
Hey everyone,
Haven't posted here in a long long time. Thought I'd better jump on and let you know that I've joined 'A Design For Live' as Richey. I'll be at the following dates: 28th Feb - Globe, Cardiff 7th Mar - Crown, Merthyr 14th Mar- Blackwood Miner's Institute We'll also be playing a special pre show gig at the Brewhouse before the Manics gig at Cardiff Castle!

Just had a listen, actually a really good tribute. However, the rogue apostrophe in the photos header is unforgivable. Does 'Nicky' do your website by any chance?

Hey nice to see you back on here, if only for a visit, So, do they let you plug in?
 I jest. Sounds like a fun way to spend your evenings, but is it just a little restrictive playing Richey's guitar parts when you really want to bust out and play the solos?p.s. Have you seen the picture of the band on the wall in Brewhouse, seemingly done by a child? It's hilariously bad.

I'm happy enough being Richey, it means that I get to pay tribute to him every show and I hope that he's in good hands with me. I'll try to bring his spirit and attitude to the stage again, plenty of star jumps and poses.
Hopefully I'll see some of you at the shows, in the second half I turn into Wayne haha

We had a rehearsal at ADFL HQ last night, which is a stones throw from Faster.
Did our first run through of a Holy Bible classic and it sounded absolutely glorious. 227 lears... and I can't remember the first line!

A Design For Live live in Cardiff 28/02/15
Hello there
Just to let you all know that I'm doing my first gigs with A Design For Live on Saturday, starting at the Cardiff City Stadium before heading off to the Globe. Stadium show is a pre match single set gig and then at the Globe we'll be playing a two part set list with full production, costume changes and a traditional JDB acoustic section. The setlist is an absolute corker and we'll be playing for around the same length of time as the Manics do. As Nicky said a few years ago "Springsteenesque long set(s), working class rage, make-up and dumb punk fun" will be guaranteed! Hope to see a few of you there
