Eminem's a brilliant artist, I'd be pleased if they did like him

I really like Eminem, it'd be cool if Nicky likes him! I've loved ALL his albums! ...Maybe not Encore.

Indeed. I also recall an interview where James said he liked him (or something to that effect).

Well actually I was trying to imply the Manics wouldn't want the award after Eminem had stuck it up his arse!
Still, that's FD and my amazing ability of communication failure for you.

no way will they get a Brit. They've more chance for single number 3 to get to number 1 than that. They simply don't sell enough *units*.

Not enough room on their shelves for it anyway!

Yes. I actually love that video and think PFAYM is the best song on the disc and best choice for a single. If it would've been the first single the CD and subsequent singles would've did better on the charts IMO.

If this actually gets released it will go top 10.

As much as I love the manics I can't see it going Top 10 unless they get a bigger promotional campaign behind them. It's a fantastic song but without selling it out to support a movie or an advert or more pumped up promotion I think it'll get top 20 at most unfortunately :-(

Aye I agree, the only way a Manics single is going to smash the top 10 ever again is if they get a song in a big movie or on a TV advert which is played all the time. That'd be mass communication on a grand scale and do the band heaps of good in getting people talking about them, buying singles / albums and going to gigs.
If not, the single will barely make the top 50 if you ask me. It'll get lower than SKON did. Looking at sales for last week for singles if SKON came out last week it wouldn't got to #44, it'd have been about #75 or something. Now THAT would look pretty poor and bad.
