Yeah, they've always said that ADFL came from two lyrics, one being ADFL itself and the other The Pure Motive. I guess The Pure Motive got the rough end of the stick.

Mine arrived this morning, here are some pics of the 2CD release and the 2CD/2DVD/Vinyl Boxset (Click images below for larger versions):

Box set has paper wrap-around, 4 spots of glue (easy to remove if you're careful). 2CD digipack, stickered.

Reverse

Big EMG20 and Little EMG20

Box Set opened, foam studs for optical discs (hopefully no cracking with these!)

2CD Digipack opened out, front and reverse.

Picked up the standard 2CD release this morning from HMV, still waiting on my signed collectors edition to arrive - did you get yours from the official store Porco? I got my dispatch email but no tracking information which has left me a bit worried it won't come on time as I want to watch the new documentary DVD tonight before the gig tomorrow!

Probably not going to get my box set until Monday now as Interlinkexpress have completely f***** up. Want to give some less than stellar feedback to the shop about them but think links for comments etc are not working

The fact that the LP cover is just a 10 x 10" photograph of an old LP surrounded by a huge white border looks cheap, shoddy, and stupid.

Took a picture of the signatures from the signed edition from the official store for anyone curious...

Just seen EMG 20 is also available as a 24-bit/44.1kHz FLAC download on the likes of 7Digital.com.

Fascinating reading the lyrics. Small Black Flowers was called 'Stalemates' and included a chorus of "Circle the doors, back forth away, piss 'gainst walls, OK"

The EMG20 box set's Take The Skinheads Bowling is the newer Lipstick Traces-version, not the original (er, original cover) that was on the Australia single, fact fans.

Also (like EMG10) no 'ooh-ohh-agh-agh' at the beginning of Dead Passive that appeared on the original ADFL single.

But: The guitar scrape at the beginning of Hanging On is back that was not included on EMG10. Also the integrated Glory, Glory... intro to Black Garden is part of the same track again in the EMG20 boxset.

Imagine if they'd covered the cover of the cover!
