I know the excitement wears off and people stop posting and all... but this album is a masterpiece. It is up there with the best Manics work. Absolutely fantastic.

It really is. I was so unsure of it when I heard the concept... "Let Robeson Sing: The Album", I thought. It's a really beautiful thing. I had a great summer holiday driving around the Amalfi Coast in Italy blasting this album the whole way and that's what it makes me think of now.

And please - everyone - listen to the Manifesto Chile 1973 Album by Jara himself. It really is good.

Well if not doing anything, you can add a vote for Even In Exile in this poll?
Write his name and album title (was I supposed to add a hyphen?) in the way other option.
Might have to wait for you to load up fully.

Slightly?

I end up with Winterlovers as an earworm everytime I hear The Last Song.

James did a really good Track By Track with Dutch radio that was bizarrely only broadcast the other day (despite the presenter saying 'forthcoming album')

Damn it's good! Just having a re-listen to this and it's connecting better than on release. I knew I'd come around to it later...

Verses Echo With Tear Flow is a banger isn’t it.

Another lost gem. File with Firefight and Door To The River etc

Yeah, I have the podcast it was on saved and trimmed, in my music library - but I'd love a high quality version.

Even nearly a year later, this album still floors me. I've fallen out of love with music, relying on stock favourites. But still this album reminds me that music and art itself is a wonderful thing that can bridge people and feelings across vast divides of time and space. We are truly blessed to have James (as well as Nicky and Sean) making such great music so far into their career. Let the good times continue.

All those JDB items (including the exclusive heavyweight vinyl) got pulled from the MSP shop when TUVL went on sale. Would be good if it all came back, as they obviously had stock.
