Yup, and not jewel case either.

I was annoyed when I found out about the SE version because it didn't list the extra track and was several pounds more expensive the day it came out so I went with the jewel case. I assumed the case was the only difference. Bah!

might have to look into purchasing that tomorrow, WLW is just pure class and should win some sort of award in it's own!

The album is fantastic... probably in my top 10 of the decade.

I love the packaging for the special edition. I don't know if that's sad but I'd take it over the normal one just for the packaging, haha. I got it for £3 anyway so it doesn't really matter.

has anyone ever bought it without also being a manics fan? i reckon that's why it's so unappreciated.

You're probably right. I mean, it's never in stores and stuff for people to spot and decide to buy on a whim, and without being a manics fan there will probably be very little appeal to buying it.

I reckon it might appeal to a lot of people who don't necessarily like the Manics too, so it's a shame it didn't get more promotion. Everett True gave it a lot of love but sadly he doesn't have the same power over the record buying public as he used to.

Zavvi (or Head) in Leeds is having a massive clearout - literally boxes of cheap albums. There were shitloads of I Killed The Zeitgeist for £1.99 I think it was.
