I would love a know your enemy reissue, demos, brides and maybe album re-sequencing how wire wanted it. I kinda don't see how it could be properly done according to his comments, too many loud tracks

Dear god no, please no morebuggering around with tracklists. We're only two steps away from them deciding to put ADFL on the KYE reissue.

Yeah. If they're going to mess with things, at least go all-out and give us full alternative versions of albums. Let It Be Naked, Double Fantasty Stripped Down, even The Holy Bible's US Mix (or, to a lesser extent, the Generation Terrorists US version) are great examples of how albums can be re-thought and re-released. Swapping just one track for another? I can already do that with my own playlist version of an album. Give us something interesting.

I spent years thinking I had a duff copy of that DVD.

I fully understand why you feel that way, I disliked it for satt and thought it butchered timttmy. I'd happily take a Nicky written tracklist for how they were going to do the 2 albums.

I'd be very happy with that as an addition. Sonethung like Springsteens ties that bind. But I'd want it hn addition to the album not rehashing history.
Having said that - I'll take whatever I can get!

Just be thankful they're only doing it on the deluxe editions and keeping the standard versions in print. The deluxe will largely be bought by hardcore fans who'll keep the original and can act as a curio.

In contrast, the only versions of Mike Oldfield's first three albums you can buy new these days are the 2009 remixes he made for the deluxe editions (the original versions were only included as bonus tracks), and there are three Tangerine Dream albums which are only available as 're-recordings' (ie with loads of new synths and guitars added) with entirely new artwork, meaning any new listeners get butchered versions.

I can't spot anything Manics on the BBC's Glasto throwback coverage schedule this weekend so doesn't look like it's that.
