Dave Eringa Officially Clarifies If Richey Played On No Surface All Feeling

Hi Everyone,

Hope that you are all well!

As it's the 20th Anniversary of Everything Must Go this year, we recently contacted MSP's Producer, Dave Eringa, to see if could confirm whether or not Richey did play any guitar on No Surface All Feeling and he very kindly replied with the following message...

"Happy to sort this out for you – no, Richey didn't play on No Surface, La Tristesse was his only recorded performance!

Having said that, No Surface was the last thing we recorded before he went (literally the day before actually!) & we did use that version for EMG, only adding the coda at the end!"

We have added this information as a postscript to our original interview with Dave http://www.repeatfanzine.co.uk/inter...%20erringa.htm but thought that we'd tweet and post on the FD Forum, just in case any fans may be interested to read this, especially as there were rumours over the years that Richey did play on this song.

Thank You for your time and Stay Beautiful,

R*E*P*E*A*T

Thanks for clearing that up. It was a possibility as Richey was plugged in during gigs and in the mix. T'is a shame but I'm now more interested as to why they rerecorded no one knows what it's like to be Ms. The demo sounds bloody huge!
