I liked St Etiennes. Hate The Cribs cover.

Jesus that covers CD is a bit of a trainwreck!! the Manics sounds ok, but deffo not a patch on Amy's. I don't think James particularly sounds connected with the song, which is understandable.

The rest of them are shite perhaps bar Karima Francis and the Balearic Folk Orchestra, both of whom I've never heard of in my life.

The Cribs are just shite anyway though. They only get attention because the singer has a truly crap haircut and goes out with Kate Nash. Oh and that they had Johnny Marr in the band for a while. What was he thinking?

The Cribs were getting well-deserved attention before Johnny Marr joined. For their excellent lo-fi tunes and down to earth image.

Lo-fi just means can't think up a melody/tune though doesn't it?

I hate The kooks but at least they had a few hit records.

Ha ha, lo-fi means putting no effort into production, it has its place.

No lie, I bloody love Ooh La. Hate everything else. The Cribs will leave more of a legacy.
