This is lovely. Hope it's not too short like a JFPL song (just listening now)

A few of the songs need a slower ending, I think.

Not sure it does to be honest. At the moment perhaps we want it longer cos were enjoying it so much. But in fact any more than three choruses (+ similar theme guitar all) could be overkill on repeat listens. On repeated listens shorter is maybe sweeter, It's a beautiful song but a very simple one and its already a full minute longer than say a lot of classic Beatles.

In the top 5 best songs they've done since "1985" off Lifeblood. A great song.

Musically really good, but I hate the lyrics, sadly. They're so inconsequential.

This is such a sweet song, very satisfying. It reminds me of the feeling of nostalgia you get when something special is winding up, in the process of ending and you know you'll never get that experience again.

The lyrics are great, I love the part where they make the Cuba reference .
I don't mind it being short, Journal For Plague Lovers had really short songs, and I loved it anyway, same for the short songs on Futurology.

you are going to make me cry with posts like that...

this album is essentially the manics classic of this decade.

lifeblood and jfpl were the classics of the 2000's and Futurology is of the 2010s..

i guess all one can do is soak it all in and enjoy life! This albums is this year! Current time and space, that is superb in it's own right.
